All he'll eat is chips! Surely that can't be good.

My sister's young son (who's 6 years old) will only eat chips. My sister says this isn't a problem and that he'll grow out of it. However, surely this can't be good for him. Already he is a little overweight and I think allowing him to eat chips all the time is cruel. It really makes my angry that she allows this to continue.

How did it come to this??

Surely your sister tries to cook other things? Or is chips the only thing she can cook!!

Can I suggest she tries a few chips with something else - a salad, some fish, chicken, veg and then over time fizzle out the chips in some meals.

Not good at all, there are so many other great foods out there that i am sure he would love if he just gets through that mental barrier of 'i only like chips'.
