The best way to burn excess body fat, contrary to popular believe, is to work close to your maximum heart rate and not working at 60 - 70 % (aka the 'fat burning zone').
Why? Well, during the fat burning zone it is turn that the majority of claories may come from body fat but as soon as exercise training stops, so will the kick in the fat burning process.
Working at 85-90% of your age related heart rate maximum will not only burn more overall calories during exercise but the exerciser's ability to burn body fat will stay elevated for up to 24 hours. That means burning calories and fat while doing nothing!
