Hi,

I too am confused about all the courses available and what qualifications I need to become a Body Pump instructor.

I am totally new to the industry and am trying to gain an understanding, can anyone advise? Am I correct in saying I need a 'level 2' qualification before I can apply for the Body Pump course.

I would like the quickest way into the industry as I can only study part time. Also I am baffled as to what course to go for?

Thanks

Hi bluedog,

Undertaking a Bodypump course will only allow you to teach BodyPump. It will not allow you to:

a. Become a gym instructor
b. Teach any other type of class
c. Become a personal trainer.

If you really have a passion for BodyPump then this is fine and you'll need to complete a BodyPump training course with Les Mills / Fit Pro.

For more details visit http://www.fitnessvenues.com/uk/body-pump-training-courses This will tell you what you will need.

Please note that you are correct, Body Pump trainees do need to hold a fitness certificate before starting the course.
