Following a year of back pain and bed rest, I came to Ann. After just 5 sessions I found myself running up the stairs for the first time in over a year and after 6 sessions was enjoying curling up on the sofa with my husband again. I have no hesitation in recommending others to go along to Acorn Pilates. I reluctantly agreed to Pilates on a "1:1" basis following a medial ligament injury to my knee. Around 5-6 sessions later I felt and saw a difference - my knee was stronger and, additionally, I noticed my game of golf also radically improved. This surprised me and can only be attributed to the improved posture and core support Acorn Pilates gave me. I have also skied again, without recurrance of the injury.

| I found Pilates following a period of back pain. Pilates gave me back ease of movement, better postural alignment and a strength of body no other exercise regime had delivered, with the added benefits of it being a totally enjoyable and de-stressing experience. My training was with the Pilates Foundation UK, which sets the highest standards for its instructors. This ethos, I trust, runs through into Acorn Pilates to provide a truly professional but friendly environment for people wishing to learn and practice the principles of Pilates.
