Post Operation
"Two years ago I started training with Tom, I'd undergone major reconstructive surgery for a congenital hip defect. Although I was certainly more mobile post op than pre I was still limited by what I could, and more importantly, could not do. Though my work as a nurse I have provided care for many patients with similar conditions. I was well aware of what the future could hold and had just about resigned myself to a life characterised by disability and pain.
Tom designed a programme that was specifically tailored to my needs and gradually I began to notice improvements. I was able to start going hiking again with friends without being in pain for several days afterwards and I no longer needed to take painkillers on a regular basis.
