| Founded in 1996, CADSART is a non-profit making charitable company limited by guarantee. Its main objective is to provide sports and recreation facilities to the Chester and District community (hence the acronym). The Trust was the first of its kind to be established in the North and has grown from strength to strength, inspiring many other local authorities to benefit from employing Trusts to manage their leisure amenities.
Venues that currently come under the CADSART umbrella include Northgate Arena Leisure Centre, Christleton Sports Centre and Malpas Sports Centre.
