Dorsal raise / Super man
The dorsal raise, also known as the super man due to the movement resembling superman flying through the air, is an exercise which recruit's the erector spinae via extension of the spine.
Performing doral raises
- Lay face down on mat.
- Extend arms flat above head.
- Raise shoulders and arms, thighs and lower legs up off floor.
- This action will resemble a superman pose, as if flying through the air
(watch out for the kryptonite!
- Slowly return to starting position.
- Repeat for desired amount of repetitions.
