Serratus Anterior
Also known as the "boxer muscle", the serratus anterior muscles are recruited during scapula protraction, the movement performed when a punch is made. Running from the scapula to the top ribs, the serratus anterior does not require any direct training, with the muscle benefit from a balanced weight training routine which involve resistance from many different planes of movement.
