Course content

The Studio Instructor course delivered by AMAC Sports is the indutsry recognised Exercise to Music award. The course content includes:

  • Anatomy and physiology
  • Components of fitness and principles of training
  • Skills for teaching groups
  • Health screening
  • Design and teach exercise to music classes
  • Choreography
  • Health and safety
  • Customer service
  • Workout styles

Course format

5 days plus 1 day assessment, Theory Home Study

Course assessment

1 hour multiple choice exam, Practical Assessment, CPR (additional course).

Course certification

OCR Certificate in Instructing Exercise & Fitness Instructing (ETM) Level 2

Entry requirement

No formal qualifications needed but students must be over 16 years old.
