Becoming a fully qualified Studio Instructor
If aerobics and exercise to music in group exercise classes is your thing, then you should train to be a Studio Professional. A successful Aerobics Instructor (or Studio Instructor) needs to be multi-talented, have excellent communication skills and be able to teach a wide range of exercise classes. Life as an aerobics instructor is rewarding, and allows you to have fun, be creative and work in an exciting environment that suits you!
Teaching group exercise
For many people, exercise in a group situation is the best way to keep fit and healthy’. Running the class is more fun than attending one – for one thing, you’ll get paid for it, whether as a freelance instructor or working at a Health Club or Leisure Centre.
Training as a studio instructor
You do not need any previous experience to be an aerobics instructor, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
The Future Fit Training Studio Professional Diploma consists of the following aerobics instructor courses:
- Anatomy and Physiology Workbooks (theory by home study)
- Exercise to Music Module
- Choreography and Conditioning Skills Module
- Basic Step Instructor Module

Throughout your training, you will receive full support from our Student Support team. You will be assigned a Training Coordinator who will help you with the organisation of your training programme, and you will receive technical support from our team of tutors.
Entry requirements
There are no pre-requisites for this course, but you should have regularly attended Exercise to Music (aerobics) classes, and be prepared for fairly strenuous physical activity during the Workshop.
