Gracilis

A hip adductor, the gracilis is a thin muscle situated to the inside of the thigh. The appearance of the muscle is where the name "gracilis" originates from, meaning "slender".

Being recruited during knee flexion, along with the hamstrings, the gracilis is also responsible for hip adduction and transverse adduction. The gracilis will likely be commonly stimulated during leg curl exercises, where the high population of fast twitch fibres the gracilis appears to have is a common property of that of the hamstrings.

When training for muscular size it is often best to train in a rep range of 6-12 repetitions, although there is often much debate on the optimal rep range. It would be advisable to experiment with different ranges to see which suits you.
