The Robert Pattinson workout routine reveals how movie star Robert Pattinson worked out and created a lean, toned physique as seen on screen.

Robert Pattinson is the star of the Twlight movie series. In Twlight, Robert Pattinson plays Edward Cullen, a vampire attracted to a local girl played by Kristen Stewart. At the time of writing this article Robert Pattinson had starred in two highly successful Twlight films, Twlight and Twlight, New Moon. No doubt Pattinson will continue to play Edward Cullen in other Twlight franchise movies.

The Robert Pattinson workout

In Twlight, New Moon, Robert Pattinson reveals a torso that is rippling with muscles. It was felt by the film director and crew that because the were wolfs in the films look bulky and muscle bound, the vampires should appear lean, ripped and like supermodels.

So for Twlight, New Moon, Robert Pattinson under went an intense workout routine with the film's personal trainer in Vancouver, Canada, the location choosen for Twlight, New Moon.

Pattinson and the other vampires didn't, as you might imagine hit the weights room and perform endless sets of heavy press presses and squats. They actual performed intense boxing drills and circuit training.

Robert Pattinson circuit workouts

In order for Edward Cullen, Robert Pattinson's vampire character, to look as lean and cut as possible, Pattinson performed the following circuits.

Workout A

  • 100 rep jumping squats
  • 100 rep shoulder presses
  • 100 rep crunches

Workout B

  • 30 reverse crunches
  • 40 burpess
  • 40 jumping lunges

Robert Pattinson and the other vampires on the Twlight, New Moon set, would perform each exercise as quickly as possible and repeat each circuit 3 times, with a two minute rest in between each. Workout A would be perfomed on day 1, Workout B on day 2 and day 3 would be a rest day before Pattinson would start the workout programme all over again.
