Zac Efron workout: Get a body like Zac Efron

Zac Efron, Hollywood movie actor, heart throb and star of such films as High School Muscical, High School Musical 2 and 3, 17 Again and the remake of Footloose, staring in the Kevin Bacon role, has recently been sporting a very buff and ripped torso.

The Zac Efron workout

Judging back the photo of Zac Efron above he has been hitting both the weights room as well as CV machines.

Zac Efron isn't huge. He is no Hugh Jackman or LL Cool J. However, he sports a torso that is aesthetically pleasing and athletic - something that drives women wild.

To get a body like Zac Efron I suggest performing the following exercises:

  • Squats or leg press
  • Chest press, Incline press, decline press or dips
  • Pull ups or lat pull downs
  • One arm rowing
  • Tricep pressdowns
  • Bicep curls
  • Crunches
  • Reverse crunches

Performing these exercises in a full body circuit three twice a week will help the body generate testosterone - vital for increasing muscle mass - as well as promoting the body to burn body fat.

Zac Efron cardio workout

It has been reported that Zac Efron enjoys trekking, hiking, surfing and other outdoor pursuits. So, if weather permits, why to try the following outdoor activities:

  • Trekking
  • Hiking
  • Basketball
  • Soccer
  • Frisbee
  • Jogging
  • Surfing
  • Swimming
  • Cycling

Simply choose three or four outdoor pursuits each week and perform them for at least 20 - 40 minutes in each session. Aim to elevate your heart rate so that you are workout hard but at a level you can maintain for the duration of the activity.

Zac Efron diet plan

In order to look lean Zac Efron will eat some carbs while still maintaining a relatively low carb intake. Like Zac Efron, aim to eat carbs in the morning, a little before a workout and the majority of your daily carbs straight after a workout, allowing the body to pump sugars around the body and directly into muscles, storing it for the next workout without increasing body fat levels.
